Who we are
ALP Insurance is an independent commercial insurance agency based in Cliffside Park, New Jersey, serving businesses across the U.S. You can start online or call our office. Our team helps you compare available insurance options and understand what each one includes.
Because we aren't tied to one insurance company, we can approach the insurance companies that consider your type of business and lay the options side by side. We focus on commercial insurance: trucking and commercial auto, contractors, restaurants, manufacturers and wholesalers, real estate owners, retail and service businesses, professional firms, nonprofits and schools.
Insurance options depend on your business, location, licensing requirements and carrier availability.

Quoting
You tell us about your business — through the quote form, by uploading your current policy, or by phone. A licensed ALP agent reviews the details, asks about anything missing, and approaches insurance companies that consider your type of business.

Choosing coverage
We walk you through the options: coverage, limits, deductibles, important exclusions and price. Coverage is in place only after you approve it and the insurance company confirms it.

Day-to-day service
Certificates, policy change requests, ID cards and documents are handled by the office by phone, email and the Certificate Center (Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm ET). Requests do not change coverage until the insurance company or ALP confirms the change in writing.

Renewals
When your policy comes up for renewal, go over the renewal terms with us and tell us what has changed — vehicles, drivers, payroll, locations or services — so your coverage reflects how your business works now.

Claims
Claims are reported to your insurance company, which decides coverage. ALP helps you get the claim reported, follows up with the insurer, and answers questions about your policy along the way.

Our online portal for current clients is opening soon. Until then, everything is available by phone, email and the forms on this website — the quote form, the Certificate Center and the coverage review.
