This policy explains how ALP Insurance and Financial Services Inc. ("ALP") handles information collected through this website.

Information we collect and how we use it

ALP collects the information you submit through this website — such as business and contact details, information about vehicles, drivers, payroll and operations, and documents you upload — to prepare insurance quotes, issue certificates and service your policies. Driver's license numbers, dates of birth and similar identifiers are not collected through the public quote form.

When you send a form, it includes the page you first arrived on, the site that referred you and any campaign tags in the link you followed, so we can understand which outreach works. If you arrive through a referral partner's link, a cookie remembers that partner for 90 days so we can thank them for the introduction; the partner does not see what you submit.

Sharing your information

We share information with insurance carriers, wholesalers and premium finance companies only as needed to quote, place and service your coverage. Service providers that host and run our systems (for example cloud hosting, email and telephone services) process it on our behalf. We may also share information when the law requires it, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the agency's business. We do not sell your personal information.

Text messages and WhatsApp

If you text or message ALP on WhatsApp, or agree to receive messages from us, we use your mobile number and messages to answer you and to service your insurance. Texts are sent and received through RingCentral and WhatsApp messages through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform. Reply STOP to stop texts at any time and START to resume; message and data rates may apply.

We do not sell or share mobile numbers or messaging consent with third parties for their marketing.

How information is protected

Information you submit travels over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and is stored encrypted in ALP's private systems, not on this website's public pages; staff access depends on their role. No method of sending or storing information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

ALP staff may use AI tools running in our cloud provider (Amazon Web Services) to help read uploaded policy documents, and a person at ALP reviews the results.

Website assistant

The automated assistant answers from information ALP has approved; it is not a licensed agent. Chat text is kept for up to 30 days, and details you start but don't send are erased after 7 days without activity. Your details reach ALP's team only after you confirm them, ask to be contacted and enter the code we email you — that code confirms the email address, not who you are. Marketing emails are sent only if you tick the separate box. "Clear chat" deletes the conversation.

Cookies and your browser

The website uses cookies it needs in order to work, such as keeping your visit's session and protecting forms from misuse, plus the referral partner cookie described above. It does not currently use third-party analytics or advertising cookies.

Your browser also keeps a few things for you on your own device, not on our systems: the page you first arrived on and the link's campaign tags (only until you close the tab), and the quote form's unfinished answers, so you can come back to them. Uploaded files are never kept this way. Sending the quote form or choosing "Start over" clears its answers.
